About Us

Meet Your Farmers

We are Jason and Amy Icenhour Douglas. We started The Farmers’ Daughter in 2008, with a half acre garden and a partially finished roadside stand. Our children, Lily (15) and Max (13) have grown up right beside us on the farm. Jason is a full-time, self employed brick mason and farmer. I (Amy) am a full-time farmer. Together, we have raised our kids on fresh air and sunshine. We enjoy watching our kids play various sports, riding bicycles, kayaking, hiking, deer hunting, and fishing.
Today, we farm about 10 acres of our larger, 108-acre, family farm land. We grow 2.75 acres of strawberries and the remaining balance is in mixed vegetables. We also team up with our family farm, Morning Dew Farms to provide squash, zucchini, snap beans, blueberries, and pastured beef. In 2021, a dream came to life when we started offering individual, frozen cuts of our pastured beef. Our mission is to provide garden fresh produce and healthy beef to our community. In 2022, to mark our 14th year of business, we opened our new Country Store and expanded our offerings for our community.
