Pastured Beef

Our family has been in the cattle business for 3 generations; from a dairy farm originally to beef cattle, starting in 1988. We take pride in raising healthy, low-stressed, pastured Simmental-Angus beef cows.

Our brood cows are pastured on a 250-acre farm and calve year round.  The calf crop is weaned at approximately 9 months (400-600-lbs) and  a select few are chosen to be finished by Amy’s brothers on our 60-acre pasture.

Our finishing process allows the beef steers to remain on pasture and have the free choice of coming up on the lot to eat a blend of corn silage, grass hay, and barley grain. The beef is harvested at approximately 18-24-months of age. Our beef cattle are antibiotic free, and are never given any added growth hormones. They are on our pasture land their entire life. We love our cows and it shows! Our beef is sold as yearling calf herds; not individually and no longer in our store. This was a family decision and the best for us.
