Fall Farm Tours (September – October Only)
Throughout the week, Monday through Friday, teachers can bring their classes to the farm for a Fall Farm Tour. Individual school group tours are scheduled in two hour blocks, between the hours of 10am and 2pm. That gives each group plenty of time on the farm. Each tour is tailored to the age group (Preschool -2nd Grade and Special Education Classes are always welcome) and includes educational breakout sessions with a story time, art activity, hayride, and apple/pumpkin activity station.
Alexander County has always been apple country! We want to highlight our county’s history in September by focusing our tours on apples. Our October tours will highlight pumpkins, as they have in the past.
- The cost of the farm tour is $6/student and $4/adult chaperon.
- FREE coloring book and bag of apples/pumpkin for every student.
- All teachers/bus drivers are FREE.
- An outdoor picnic area is available for group lunches, bring blankets.
- Restrooms are available.
Please call Amy at (828) 312-8137 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on scheduling a group tour.
